What happened to impartiality and educating children as to the effects of narcotics rather than preaching their evils? Of course, I can perhaps see why they might change their approach when faced with students asking difficult questions like "So it makes you feel good? And it's not addictive? And it's safer than an aspirin? Sweet!"
Any chance that schools are going to be asked to teach the 3 R's at any time?
If I had been given anti-drugs lessons at school I would have seen them as a way to annoy everyone and gone out and tried them. Instead I discussed them with my parents and decided they weren't for me.
PS House sale fell through a couple of weeks ago, I need to do a blog as it was instructive.
GS, 3R's is out of the window again - it's high culture that's on the syllabus this week, replacing the five hours of sport a week or was that teaching them healthy cooking (but no pork or beef recipes, of course)? Had all of these crappy intiatives been implemented, the school week would now be about 168 hours long.
