Derek said...: Sorry, Mark. Never thought to. He generally writes about the Canadian housing bubble and Canadian investing with the occasional foray into Canadian politics. Not too surprising since he is an ex-MP (and ex-Minister of Finance) who got the boot for representing his constituents instead of toeing the Prime Minister's idea of the party line. So although a conservative at heart, he really doesn't like the current Canadian Conservative government -- on a personal level.

That all makes him really interesting to Canadian residents but I thought him a bit specific to be of international interest.

Mind you he is a pretty entertaining writer and his comment section attracts a fun cross-section of ordinary people, crackpots and out-and-out weirdos, so I'm hooked.; 28 November 2012 at 17:27
